Hi, I’m Omel Contreras
I’m an instructional designer and facilitator with strong analytics and graphic design experience.
As an instructional designer, facilitator and educator, I have developed and delivered a wide range of training programs, both online and in-person, for diverse groups in the corporate, educational, and technical sectors. I have worked with large groups ranging from 10 to 40 participants, and have facilitated training on platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, and in-person workshops. I’ve had the opportunity to create customized training programs for a variety of audiences, including sales teams, support staff, and new hires at Travelpass Group, where I developed a 2-week onboarding program that integrated company-specific information, sales techniques, and motivational content. I am experienced in applying adult learning principles to ensure content is engaging, relevant, and effective, and I actively measured the success of my training through KPIs and feedback loops to refine and improve materials.
In my previous roles, I have created a broad range of training materials, including instructional guides, PowerPoint presentations, eLearning modules, and visually engaging graphics. I am proficient in using G Suite and other design tools such as Loom (similar to Camtasia), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create polished, professional resources. My experience also includes managing and contributing to an LMS (WorkRamp), where I created, organized, and tracked training courses while monitoring user engagement and performance. Additionally, I have demonstrated my ability to thrive in dynamic, unstructured environments, consistently showing initiative and adaptability. Whether collaborating across departments to create content or stepping into a leadership role to facilitate training during a staffing shortage, I consistently take proactive steps to ensure successful outcomes.
I have also developed clear, step-by-step documentation for both software and process training, ensuring end users can navigate systems or procedures with ease. I’ve applied this skill in the CMS processes at Travelpass Group and in other technical consulting roles where clarity and accuracy were essential. Through these experiences, I have refined my ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments while producing high-quality training materials that meet the needs of diverse audiences.
